Hey! We’re so excited to be visiting from the UK this summer and have the Disney dining plan. What do you recommend in terms of special meals that we can use our table service credits on? Firework dessert parties aren’t included :(

Hey there, hi there, ho there Judith! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending in your question. It sounds like you’re counting down the days to a magical summer holiday at Walt Disney World Resort, how exciting! With the Disney Dining Plan in hand, you’re in for some truly delicious experiences, and I’d love to help you make the most of your table service credits with some unforgettable meals during your stay.

Character dining is one of the best ways to create memorable moments and is a great value when using table service credits. Options like Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort offer a beautiful setting and character interactions in unique outfits, while places like Tusker House in Animal Kingdom and Garden Grill in EPCOT provide fun themes and visits from beloved Disney characters. These meals allow you to combine food, atmosphere, and character experiences all in one.

If you're looking for meals with great theming, dining inside Beast’s castle at Be Our Guest in Magic Kingdom is a favorite. It's a prix fixe menu that feels more like an experience than just a meal. For something truly regal, Cinderella’s Royal Table lets you dine inside the iconic castle, surrounded by princesses, which is perfect for a special occasion, though it does require two table service credits. Another fun option is 50’s Prime Time Café at Hollywood Studios, where the servers treat you like family and the atmosphere is full of retro charm.

Resort dining can also be a lovely way to escape the parks and enjoy a relaxing meal with fantastic ambiance. California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers incredible views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks if you time your reservation right. For something unique and a bit more adventurous, Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge lets you enjoy African and Indian inspired dishes while watching giraffes and zebras roam just outside the windows.

At EPCOT, the World Showcase offers a chance to dine around the globe. Le Cellier in the Canada Pavilion and Chefs de France in the France Pavilion are two guest favorites that turn a regular theme park day into a cultural dining experience.

Judith, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
