Hi Kenyatta!
I'm so happy you sailed over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask this great question! You must be so excited as you plan for your incredible vacation this December with your two kids. Sailing on a Disney Cruise around the holidays is extra magical. I remember walking into the Atrium lobby for the first time during a December sailing and being amazed at the gorgeous decorations and unbelievable life-sized gingerbread house!
I'm so excited to tell you that there are multiple activities for single parents (and non-parents) onboard! Activities are subject to change, but for example on our last cruise, there was a "Cruisin' Solo: Lunch" on multiple days as well as a "Cruisin' Solo: Gathering" scheduled on multiple days, too! These events will be listed in your Personal Navigator newsletter which will be dropped off at your stateroom each evening as well as the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app which you can download onto your mobile device before leaving for your trip! The Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and Personal Navigator newsletter list all the activities going on around the ship (and their times) by age group.
Besides the "Cruisin' Solo" activities, there are many adults-only activities scheduled throughout the day and into the night that you're more than welcome to attend! Another place where single parents (and non-parents) like to hang out is the adults-exclusive
Quiet Cove Pool. It's been my experience that people are excited to mingle and make new friends while sailing aboard a Disney Cruise!
I'm wishing you and your kids an incredible inaugural voyage with Captain Mickey! Kenyatta, I'm so hopeful that you will meet other single parents and disembark the ship with lifelong memories and friends.
