Hi, Toni, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
For me, there's no more Magical Place on Earth to celebrate a birthday than Walt Disney World Resort! My family and I celebrate my daughter's birthday there each year, and she just loves the special attention she gets from Cast Members when she proudly sports her "Happy Birthday" button every day of our trip. (Ask for complimentary buttons for your twins when you check into your hotel, or stop by Guest Relations at any of the Theme Parks!)
As for celebratory items for your twins, if you'd like something set up in your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room while you're at the Parks during the day, consider the options available through
Disney Floral & Gifts. From the simple (like a Mickey Mouse or Buzz Lightyear Air Walking Balloon) to the extravagant (like Mickey & Friends Ultimate Birthday Celebration), your little ones will be giddy with delight for the
surprise that awaits them in your room.
For items you bring from home, I'd like to offer another suggestion. My daughter is visited by the "Disney Fairies" during our trip each night while she's sleeping. "They" leave out little trinkets (like stuffed animals, books, outfits or small toys) on the sofa or table in our room for her to discover when she wakes up the next morning. (During our first visit, I'd make up an excuse to run back to the room and set things up after we'd walked out for our day in the Parks, but later I realized it's much easier to do once she's fallen asleep!) Then every morning is a little bit like Christmas as she wakes excited to start the day and see what goodies the "Fairies" left overnight.
Hopefully these tips will help you and your little Mouseketeers have an awesome birthday celebration!
