Hey everyone, Can you please help me pack? What kind of clothes do we bring? We will be at WDW Sept 15th -22nd. I have never been this time of year. Packing for 2 adults and 2 children ages 4 and 2. Thanks!

I'd love to be your virtual packing assistant, Nicole, especially if it means I get to borrow some of your cute clothes!  Okay, okay, I'll still help even if I don't get to shop your closet.

Our family prefers to vacation in September, so I have lots of experience with packing for that time of year.  What I can tell you is that you should expect really warm and humid days.  Nights will also be quite warm, though you may find the occasional need for a light sweater.  You'll want to bring shorts, capri pants, t-shirts or tank tops and comfortable walking shoes (leave your heels at home!).  You might consider skirts or skorts for females, though don't get fancy.  Do bring along bathing suits, wide-brimmed hats or visors and plenty of sunscreen.  If you have dinner in one of Disney's signature dining locations planned, you'll want to bring a nicer outfit.  Women usually opt for a summer sundress while men do great with a pair of khakis and a polo shirt.  To best navigate the parks in spite of afternoon thunderstorms, you should definitely bring along ponchos for everyone in the family.  Easy enough, right?  Have a great time.

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
