Hey everyone, planning a trip in November with my family. I was wondering about the princess dresses. Are the ones in the Disney store the same as in Disney World? Thanks, Mom of 3.

    Hello, Jamie!

Have a wonderful trip to Walt Disney World in November! What a fabulous time you're in for! :-)

The princess dresses you'll find in many of the shops in WDW are a bit different than the those that you'll find elsewhere. Unless you're looking at particular details, however, the average Guest may not notice. I've found that these dresses are a bit more elaborate, sometimes a bit more substantial in design and with added detail, such as extra sparkle, an additional broach or some other added feature. These dresses may cost a little more than some of the more basic princess dresses; however, they are no more expensive (and may be even less expensive) than some of the more elaborate princess costumes you'd find in costume shops and Halloween stores. It's also great to allow the little princesses to pick out their own souvenir while in WDW...her very own favorite princess's dress! What a memory that will be!

Have a wonderful trip! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
