Hey Disney, I was wondering if my son could attend a “grad nite” by going with his friends that aren’t at his school or state? His school doesn’t offer grad nite at Disney and he’s not in the same state as his friends.

    Hey, Bob! Welcome to planDisney.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024! I understand your son is interested in attending a Disneyland Resort Grad Nite. Unfortunately, if he does not have a wristband for the Grad Nite Private Party Experience, the after-hours event for students at Disney California Adventure Park, he cannot attend. However, I have some good news: your son can still visit the Theme Parks on Grad Nite dates!

It's important to know that Disney California Adventure Park will close at 9:00 p.m. to the general public for the Grad Nite Private Party Experience. If your son wishes to stay at the resort for a little longer, he can explore the Downtown Disney District. If he has a Park Hopper Ticket, he can visit Disneyland Park after Disney California Adventure Park closes early.

Tip: Be sure your son has the Disneyland App ready on his device for his upcoming visit. He can use the app to enter the parks, check attraction wait times, place Mobile Orders for food, and more.

Bob, I wish your son the happiest visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! Please feel free to visit us again with any other questions you have.

    Your Pal,

Meet the Panelist: Alejandra, California

Hola from California! I am a lifelong Disney fan, wife, and mamá. I planned my first Disney vacation at thirteen and have not stopped since! Being a Californian, I have had the privilege of visiting Disneyland Resort my whole life. It is my happy place and feels like home. And now that we are parents, my husband and I especially love vacationing at Disney with our son. I am excited to help you plan your next vacation in both English and Spanish!
