Hi Danielle,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us another question, my fellow international traveller!
I recently had the chance to sail on the magnificent
Disney Wish and I know you’re going to have a magical time! And I’m thrilled to hear that you’ve decided to add some fun at Walt Disney World Resort to your
Disney Cruise Line vacation, too. I find combining a cruise with a visit to the Parks truly is the perfect way to fill up on Disney Magic!
I believe that you’ll be visiting the United States from Europe. If that’s the case, unfortunately, you can’t purchase a Single Day Ticket on the
European version of the Walt Disney World Resort website. I’m not sure whether you can access the United States – English version but, if you can, please click on this link to visit the North American
Theme Park Tickets purchasing page. You might be able to make your purchase that way or by downloading the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to your smartphone (if you can in your region) and accessing the in-app ticket purchasing options.
If neither of those options works, your only options would be to speak to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner (travel agent) to see whether they can assist you or to purchase your Theme Park Tickets when you arrive in the United States. I would recommend that you purchase your tickets at the
Disney Springs Welcome Center prior to the day on which you plan to visit one of the Theme Parks. That way, you’ll be able to get to the Magic and start your Disney Day more quickly when you get to the parks.
I strongly encourage you to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Tool to make sure that the date you’d like to visit
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is still available. Please note that, the closer you get to your vacation dates, the more availability can become limited for all Parks, especially the two that you’d like to visit. If you think that you might be visiting on a particularly busy day (especially if that day falls on a holiday in the United States or in March/April during Spring Break), then your best bet might be to purchase a 2 Day Theme Park Ticket from the European site before leaving home so that you can lock in your preferred dates. Even though that may be a more expensive option, at least then you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that the Theme Park that you’d like to visit will be “sold out” when you arrive.
I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect “Land and Sea” vacation for you and your family. As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
