Hey we are going to Disney in October and I made dinning reservations for 5 people. Something has come up and 2 of the 5 can't come with us! How do I take 2 people off with out losing my reservations?

    Hi Alisa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

We often travel with friends and family members and it’s happened a couple of times that some people were no longer able to join us for our trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Although I always make every effort to re-book our dining reservations for the proper number of Guests, it has happened that I’ve been unable to do so. The ability to make any adjustments to your party size are at the discretion of the restaurant’s manager when you check in. I’ve only ever had a problem once where we had to wait an unusually long time for a table due to the change in our party size.

My advice to you would be to re-book your dining reservations right away in order to avoid any problems or uncertainty. If you can’t find a table to reflect your new party size and you really want to keep that reservation, because you’re reducing your number of Guests, there’s a good chance that you won’t have any problems doing so when you check in for your meal.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation and please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
