Hey Disney moms, We have 5 people in our party 2 are children aged 3 and 6 my question is my husband wants a fast pass for expedition Everest do we all have to have a fast pass for that the kids are not tall enough to ride. Hopefully this makes sense

    Hi Krysta,

It sounds like your husband is keen to accept the challenge of taking on the Yeti at Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, one of the great thrilling attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This is one of my family's favourite attractions as well. However, as some folks find this attraction a bit too intense, or simply don't meet the height requirement of being at least 44 inches tall in order to ride, it is not uncommon for some family members like your younger children to have to sit this one out.

Fortunately, your family does not have to book the same FastPass+ selections each day of your trip. Therefore, your husband and whoever else in your party is willing and able to take on the Yeti can book a FastPass+ reservation for Expedition Everest, while everyone else can choose another attraction to enjoy instead. Finding Nemo - The Musical is located relatively close to Expedition Everest and is available for FastPass+ selection. It is a terrific show inside a large air conditioned theatre, making it a great place to spend time with little ones. The Boneyard is also reasonably close and very popular with young children and would not require a FastPass. In fact, when my own kids were your children's ages, I literally had to drag them away from The Boneyard as they never wanted to leave!

I hope these tips are helpful in planning your day at Animal Kingdom! If we can help with anything else, please let us know!
