Hey! On the DDP, I know souvenir cups are not included. However, if we want to upgrade our specialty drink to one in a souvenir cup, can we pay to upgrade to the special cup, or do we have to pay out of pocket for the entire souvenir cup price? Thanks!

    Hi Stephanie!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love how thorough you are being with your planning! You have clearly done your homework regarding the Disney Dining Plans! While you cannot upgrade a specialty drink, you absolutely have the option to pay for it separately.

I have done this many times! Between souvenir cups and glow cubes, I could have a really fun party at my home!

If you are planning to purchase a souvenir cup, you might also plan to include a small bottle of dish detergent on your packing list. It's great to be able to thoroughly wash your cup before you take it home. The cup is also a great storage container as you pack to return home. I have stuffed everything from socks, to t-shirts, to trading pins in the cups I have brought home.

I hope this helps you with your planning.

Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
