    Hey Moms and Dads! Only 11 days until our vacation! This is the first time we are visiting WDW in the winter. Other than jackets and dressing in layers, is their anything else I should plan or pack to be prepared for our February visit? Thanks!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    A first trip to Walt Disney World is exciting.  I would also pack some t-shirts, shorts, and a swimming suit.  Sometimes it can be very warm and even hot in February in Walt Disney World.  Also, the main swimming pools at the resorts are heated as well as the water park.. In fact, it can be a great time to visit a water park as the lines are usually non-existent.  Of course, it can also be very cold in Walt Disney World in February so be sure to bring along some gloves and maybe a hat or scarf.  All of those items are sold at Walt Disney World, but they can be a little expensive.

    You can rent lockers at all of the theme parks and the water parks to hold whatever gear you don't need.  I also suggest bringing a small to medium backpack with you.  You can bring a backpack on all of the attractions in the theme parks including the roller coasters.  A backpack can help with the layers of clothing as you take them off.
