Hey! We are coming in Setember and staying at the Caribean Beach Resort. Do you think this is a good hotel? I have read some things on the web and can not decide if I want to switch or not. Please help!!

Hi, Michelle! I feel a confession coming on. Here it comes...

I have stayed at all types of accommodations at Disney World, except for a tent or RV at Fort Wilderness (but I'm open to it!) When I stayed at Caribbean Beach earlier this year, I couldn't stop comparing it to a value resort. And the value resort couldn't stop winning.

I'd chose Pop Century over Caribbean Beach any day. Why?
    - Price is better
    - Resort is newer
    - Rooms are better controlled in terms of temperature and humidity
    - Food court is comparable
    - Transportation system is easier to understand

Granted, the character theming at Caribbean Beach is cool, whether it be the Nemo rooms, Pirate rooms or pool. It just isn't enough for me to justify staying at Caribbean Beach over a value.
