    Hey There, coming in Nov & staying a week, thinking of splitting time between AKL & WL. Can I do this all on one reservation, I want the DP & Tickets. Will "resort hopping" mess up my current reservation

    Hi Angie!

         Unfortunately Disney treats staying in two Resorts in one vacation as two separate Disney vacations, meaning that you would have to have two reservations.  This can complicate things a bit especially if you want to get the Disney Dining Plan and tickets.  Typically the Disney Dining Plans require a minimum nights of overnight stays at a Resort and a minimum number of Park Tickets for each reservation.  So you would have to meet those qualifications for each Resort.  I have done two Resorts in one vacation before with a Disney Dining Plan for each reservation and trust me it was way more complicated than staying at one Resort per Walt Disney World vacation!  For example on of the things that I discovered is that your Dining Credits from the first Resort expire at midnight on the day that you check out so you have to make sure that you use them all up by then.  Also you do not get your Dining Credits and park tickets from the second Resort until you check in.  So as you can see, you really need to do some planning if you choose to stay at two Walt Disney World Resorts during your next vacation!
