    Hey! We will be celebrating my son's 4th birthday at Disney World this November! Do you have any birthday ideas? Are there any special birthday related things we can do to make it extra fun? Thanks so much.

    Hi Jennifer ~

    I can't think of a place better to celebrate a 4th birthday than Walt Disney World! While there aren't any specific birthday specials currently offered, there are certainly some things you can do to make your son's birthday extra special. Be sure to stop by Guest Relations to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for him. You never know what pixie dust will come his way throughout the day.

    A character meal is always a great way to celebrate a birthday! You get to meet several characters while enjoying a great meal and waiting for them to come to you. My boys always love Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, and Hollywood & Vine. They also love to dine at T-REX located at Disney Springs. A lot of 4-year old boys love dinosaurs so this location is always a big hit. Your son will love playing in the Paleo Zone and shopping in the Dino-Store. Reservations for all dining locations are highly recommended and can be made starting 180-days prior to your visit. Be sure to tell them that you're celebrating your son's birthday.

    Disney Springs is another great place to celebrate! Here are some fun options your son may love:
    * The LEGO Store - this is a great place to let your son pick out that perfect gift.
    * Once Upon a Toy
    * Star Wars™ Trading Post - he can build his own lightsaber here.
    * Take a cruise in a vintage Amphicar - kids love this!

    Don't forget to visit Mickey at the Town Square Theater in the Magic Kingdom. He talks at this location! Make sure your son is wearing his "Happy Birthday" button and keeps it visible while in the room waiting to talk to Mickey.

    I'm limited in space but please feel free to visit us again for more suggestion.

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
