hey I want to celebrate my my son 2nd birthday at disney. so how can I plan the simple celebration for him. its a 8 people family gathering only. any idea where to order reasonable cake and how to do something for his birthday?

    Hi Sana!

How exciting that you are planning your son's birthday party at Walt Disney World! There are so many wonderful things available at Walt Disney World to make birthdays magical!

First, make an advanced dining reservation for your family gathering. You can begin making your reservations 60 days in advance. I see that you are visiting on November 11, so your window is open. Your son would love to dine with Mickey Mouse and friends at Chef Mickey's to celebrate! Another great option is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort. You can book the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch. Make sure to note that you are celebrating your son's birthday on the reservation.

Secondly, consider ordering a cake and having it delivered to your restaurant. You can get a Mickey Mouse cake in dark, milk, or white chocolate. They will bring it out to your little one and he will be so excited to have his own special cake!

You can also order him a gift from Disney Floral & Gifts and have it delivered to the room. I really love the Mickey Mouse Happy Birthday Cupcakes package! It comes with six cupcakes and a Mickey Mouse balloon.

Make sure to also ask for a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button when you check in to your resort. He will love hearing birthday greetings all day long!

    Magically,
    Stacy
