Hey, we have a boy with Down Syndrome, is there discounted ticket for him? Is it suitable for children with cognitive problems, such as not having to stand in line for the various attractions?

    Hi Kirsti!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I have a special needs son and I am constantly amazed at the way Disney makes visiting the Parks an experience everyone will enjoy. Although at this time there are no discounted tickets, there are wonderful services available to those with special needs. When you first arrive, stop by Guest Services at the front of each Park and request a Disabilities Access Service Card. You will be given a return time (based on current wait times) for a Ride or Attraction of your choice so your son can avoid waiting in lines. After you finish with your first Ride, you can request a return time for another one at a kiosk located throughout the Parks. We have used this service many times and it is fantastic. Disney is known for the way it meets the needs of each and every person and the services they offer to those with disabilities is no exception. It's one of the things I love the very most about Walt Disney World.

Please let us know if we can do anything else for you. Have a magical day!
