Hey there! I booked and paid for my upcoming stay for the end of this month, but now have an Annual Pass. How do I apply the Annual Pass to my current tickets/reservation? The Annual Pass payment should allow for a refund of the tickets that I purchased.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jessica!

Thanks for stopping by with your question about Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes - you're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Jessica, it looks like your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is only a few days away. Oh boy! I'm here to help you understand the best way to use your theme park tickets and brand-new Annual Pass.

Yippee - you're an Annual Passholder! Jessica, I recently purchased an Annual Pass, as well, and I can't wait to activate it and unlock the magic at the Walt Disney World Resort. As an Annual Passholder, you'll have the ability to hold multiple theme park reservations at a time, plus exclusive benefits like discounted dining and merchandise at select locations!

Jessica, according to the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass Terms & Conditions, theme park tickets can be upgraded to Annual Passes (pending availability and during active Annual Pass sales) by calling the Existing Tickets phone line, or by visiting a theme park ticket booth or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. However, this transaction cannot be completed online at this time. Upgrading would transfer the value paid for the theme park tickets toward the purchase of a new Annual Pass. Since you've already purchased both theme park tickets and an Annual Pass, let's discuss your options! As you may know, Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, but it couldn't hurt to reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the Existing Tickets phone line for any options available to you. Alternatively, you could extend the magic by using your existing theme park tickets for your upcoming trip and waiting to activate your Annual Pass until your next visit. (Annual Passholders have one year from their purchase date to activate their pass before it expires.) You could also activate your Annual Pass on this visit, let your existing tickets expire, and apply the amount you originally paid for your tickets toward the purchase of new theme park tickets in the future!

I hope that you found this information helpful, Jessica. I'm wishing you a most magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, and a year filled with enchantment as an Annual Passholder! If you have any additional questions, please stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
