Aloha, Doug!
When I’m researching
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, it always feels like I’m on island time and just waiting for Maui to go on a voyage!
Speaking of voyages, snorkeling in the clear waters of
Rainbow Reef certainly qualifies so let’s DIVE in to some specifics. I called and spoke to a Cast Member at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa who let me know that while snorkeling reservations can be made in advance, you
will need to be onsite to make those reservations. Meaning if you check-in on a Saturday, you are welcome to make reservations for later in the week, but you can’t call ahead before your arrival. You’re also welcome to make same-day reservations, but they are “first come, first served.” Please note that this is NOT the case for dining reservations which can be made in advance. In fact, if you're planning to immerse your family in the culture of Ko Olina by attending the
KA WA‘A – A Lū‘au at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, I encourage you to call 180 days in advance to make that reservation.
Doug, I hope this helps as you’re GEARING up to visit all of Moana’s friends in the sea. If you have any more questions I hope you’ll say
Hei Hei to all us of hEAR at planDisney.
