Hey Allison, thks for all ur help!! Wanting to spend 1 day at DTD. Staying off site, can we park car somewhere besides DTD & take boat to DTD? Want to spend most of the day there.TIA, again!!!!

    Welcome back Victoria!

I love Downtown Disney and always spend a day there. There are so many things to see and do and its a great place to visit on a day you're taking a break from the theme parks.

Downtown Disney is accessible by ferryboat from:

    • Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter
    • Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside
    • Disney's Old Key West Resort
    • Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort

I personally would park at Downtown Disney for a few reasons:

    • Parking is free
    • My car is conveniently located so that I can unload some of my souvenEARs and keep shopping
    • I can easily access my rain gear, jackets or anything else I might need
    • When I'm tired at the end of the day, my car is close and I can hop in and leave

If you want to check out some of the resorts, you can take a boat over from Downtown Disney and return at your convenience.  Have a great time shopping, dining and just relaxing!  Wishing you many magical memories :-)  Allison
