Hi Andrea and welcome to planDisney!
Dining at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite things to do on vacation! There are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from at the theme parks,
Disney Resort hotels and
Disney Springs. It's hard to choose which ones to visit each time!
You've picked a fantastic restaurant with
Boma - Flavors of Africa in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The African-inspired dishes are delicious and even my picky kids love to dine there. The Durban Chicken is my favorite thing to eat paired with coconut rice and I can't pass up practically everything they have for desserts! You can absolutely use the
Walt Disney World Bus Service to get from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, even if you are not staying at the hotel. In fact, you can use any mode of Disney transportation to get around Walt Disney World and that includes the
Walt Disney World Monorail and the
Disney Skyliner! The buses stop at Jambo House and Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge, so make sure you are getting off at Jambo House for Boma - Flavors of Africa.
Spend some time looking around the beautiful lobby of the Resort hotel if you have extra time before or after dinner and then head outside to see if you can spot any animals roaming around the savanna. Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
