**help**making reservations in 3 weeks for a trip 8 mths away, what would be the earliest time you suggest we get a reserv for breakfast at Cape May Cafe and Chef Mickeys, using the bus to get to Magic Kingdom and Epcot and will walk the rest of the way

    Hi Sherry,

Chef Mickey's is easy to get to.  I think you could make a fairly early (8:00 am) breakfast reservation -- even earlier if you happen to be going on a day when there are extra magic hours at the Magic Kingdom.  I'm not sure where you're traveling from, but I would recommend leaving your resort at 7:00 am for an 8:00 am reservation, especially if you're staying at one of the value resorts.

Cape May Cafe is a little trickier.  First of all, getting there via Epcot is not necessarily the quickest way to go, and you won't be able to even enter Epcot until the park opens at 9:00 - or earlier if there are extra magic hours.  It's easier to take the bus to Hollywood Studios.  From there you can take a boat or even walk to Cape May Cafe.  Again, give yourself at least an hour to travel.  I would probably make this reservation for slightly later, maybe 8:15 or 8:30.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
