I am helping a friend plan her daughters 16 th birthday trip.. She is a precious young lady with Downs syndrome. I know something that would make her feel so special is the bibbity bobbity boutique. Will they do this with special needs if over age 12?

Sheryle thank you so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I do know in order to participate at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Guests must be between 3 and 12-years-old. My advice would be to call the reservation number and explain your situation to the Cast Member assisting you. If your little Princess is not able to participate, can I suggest a Pirate makeover?  ARRRRRR!!!  At The Pirates League any child over 3-years-old is able to participate. Even adults can join in on the fun and the entire family can become a band of scurvy pirates! If she wants a more ‘girly’ option, she could choose the Empress or Mermaid package. My children loved their experiences at The Pirates League. They received their own Pirate name, treasures, and more!  I can't reveal too much - we took a secret oath!

Wishing your friend's Princess a magical vacation, Sheryle. Don't forget to tell her to pick up a Birthday button when she arrives at their resort!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
