HELP:Going for honeymoon for 10 days 08/03-08/12. Arrive to hotel AKL at 8am. We dont want to go to the parks the first day. But, what can we do that first day while we await for our room?? Love the panel. You Guys are the best!

Hi Desiree, Congratulations on your upcoming Honeymoon!

If you don't want to visit the Parks on your first day, you can plan on spending the time enjoying your beautiful Resort. Be sure to pack your bathing suits in your carry-on bags. If your room isn't ready, you can change in the restrooms located near the pool. In addition to relaxing by the pool, you can enjoy the animals on the Savanna, and check out the amazing lobby.

You may find that you want to go to the Downtown Disney Area for lunch, visit some of the wonderful shops and even take a ride on Characters in Flight.

I would recommend that you put a request for an Early Check-In on your reservation. Sometimes, the Resort isn't full the night before and there's always a chance that you can get in early.

Hope this helps and that you have a Magical Honeymoon,
