Hi Moms! You helped us so much on our 1st trip last yr that we're coming back! We went spring break last yr but due to a new job have to come in summer. Is it terribly busy in July? Trying to remain optimistic.

    Hi Annesha,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for your kind words. I am so glad that you found the information here helpful, and we are excited to help you plan your next trip to Walt Disney World.

My family often visits Walt Disney World both over Spring Break and in the summer. In my experience, the summer months are actually less crowded than Spring Break, since people have the whole summer to choose a week for vacation, while Spring Break is typically set. The exception to this is over the Fourth of July, when there might be higher crowds due to the holiday. There will be people at Walt Disney World in July, but I think you will find the resort less crowded than over Spring Break.

When visiting in July, one thing to keep in mind is that it will likely be hot. My family plans for this by heading to the theme parks early to experience them in the cooler part of the day, and then heading back to our resort for a nap or dip in the pool by the early afternoon. We also carry water with us to remain hydrated.

Be sure to check out all that is happening this summer at Walt Disney World as the resort Awakens Summer. There will be so much to explore and experience this summer at Walt Disney World!

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Annesha. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
