Help! I have 6 & 8 yr old boys. Too old for strollers, but when at Disney, strollers are a must! Way too heavy to carry when their legs get tired or if they fall asleep. Problem: Cant find a folding stroller big enough for a 70 lb kid. Suggestions? Th

Hi, Kelli!  So, here's the thing on stroller rentals.  The most convenient ones, that will fold up and make using Walt Disney World transportation a bit easier, are usually designed for smaller children.  The strollers you can rent at Walt Disney World, which don't fold up, really can accommodate a bigger kid - especially if you rent the double stroller, where a taller kid can pretzel himself up inside the stroller.  The problem there is that they are hard plastic, so they may not be the most comfortable.  They do, however, work great to sit for a parade.  I will say, the more weight you put in them, the harder they are to maneuver around the parks (I'll admit, I am not the best driver, but they get so heavy when you have to push them!).

Another option for a bigger kid might be to contact an outside agency, such as Kingdom Strollers, which has strollers designed for special needs children.  They look like a typical stroller, but they accommodate children up to 100 pounds and 5 feet tall, so you'll get the extra leg room.  These strollers do fold, but I have only seen them in a single model.

I hope you find something that works for your boys!  Happy kids can make a trip so much more magical!
