HELP! Our 1st WDW trip in 22 days. I'm so nervous. We have never been to WDW. I feel like we aren't going to know how to get around or what to do. Fam of 6. 2 adults, 4 kids (8,6,5,2). 7 day MYW, DDP, All star sports. Any advice is very much appreciated.

    Hi Joyce,

I'm so excited for you visiting Walt Disney World for the first time!  First, I want to see how you are doing with your dining plan.  If you are on the standard Disney Dining Plan, you will have a counter service and a table service meal a day, as well as some other goodies.  If you haven't made any dining reservations yet, I'd highly encourage you to do soon.  If you need some suggestions, please send us another question!

Then for your days at the parks. You may want to take a look at  This website literally does all the planning for you.  It will tell you the best days to avoid and the best days to visit specific parks and offer you over 100 itineraries. These itineraries walk you step by step through what attractions to visit and the order to visit them (thus, reducing your waits in line).  These plans work great and are still part of our trips.  I should note there is a small cost for the website, but one I find worthwhile.

Also, if you are flying into Orlando International Airport you can take advantage of Disney's Magical Express to bring you to and from the airport to WDW and even deliver your luggage.  Did I mention it's a free service, too!

Just a few ideas to help you not feel so overwhelmed.  Please let us know if we can help further; we've all been there with planning a first trip!
