Can you help me understand how many people I can bring to Star View Station at Disneyland? Does my husband who is listed on our account count as a member or a guest? We are going to be with two other couples who are not members. Thanks!

Welcome Home, Jennifer! Thanks for making a return trip to planDisney with this great question. It makes my day anytime I get to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, and I am here to help get you the information you need for your West Coast adventures!

I am planning my very first trip to Disneyland Resort for later this year with some of my planDisney pals and recently investigated the intergalactic details of Star View Station - a Member Lounge for my own planning purposes. This Member-exclusive hideaway is located on the second floor of Star Wars Launch Bay at Disneyland Park and provides a place to take a break during your day, refresh with some complimentary snacks, and charge your devices.

Members may bring up to 4 guests to Star View Lounge per digital membership card, or the number of guests on their reservation--whichever is greater. To determine whether your husband is a Member, take a look at your Membership information on the DVC website. From the home screen, navigate to "My DVC" from the top menu bar, then select "My Profile". Under "Membership Information", you'll see your Member ID number and all Members listed. For instance, on our Membership, I am listed as the Purchaser and my husband appears as an Additional Purchaser--meaning he is also a DVC Member and entitled to a Membership card.

If your husband was added as an Associate Member, he can make reservations or bank Vacation Points but is not a full Member and not able to get a Membership card.

Jennifer, don't forget to bring a photo ID when you plan to visit, as you may be asked to show it along with your digital Membership card for entry to the lounge. For an additional bit of Disney magic--if you're a Disney Visa cardholder, there is an exclusive character photo opportunity available to you just outside of Star Wars Launch Bay!

I hope you are counting down the days to your California adventure, Jennifer--it will be here before you know it! If you have any other questions we can help with related to all things DVC or Disneyland, please reach out to our planDisney family again anytime. Thanks for stopping by!
