Help! Uk resident staying on Disney property for first 7 nights then 21 night off site, looking at annual passes as may return for Xmas. Can’t understand the annual passes with the booking parks and lighting lanes.

    Hi Julie!
    Welcome to planDisney.

It's always a pleasure to answer questions from my fellow UK guests, and I'm happy to help with your questions.

As you have such a lovely long visit planned, it would definitely be worth buying an Annual Pass, especially if you might return again for Christmas.  How fantastic!

Firstly, I have looked at some prices for you.  Our UK 14-Day Magic Ticket prices for your arrival date next year are £539 per adult, and £519 per child (age 3-9).  As you probably know, these include park hopping, water park admission and Memory Maker, for all your digital downloads of PhotoPass photos taken around the parks, and on some of the attractions.

An Annual Pass is only available to buy at Walt Disney World Resort, at any Guest Relations at theme park entrances, or at water parks, or at the Ticket Center at Disney Springs, or online when you are in the United States.  The Disney Incredi-Pass is currently priced at US$1543.19 (including tax) for all guests.  You have the option to add Disney PhotoPass Downloads for US$99.00, and/or Water Parks and Sports Option for US$99.00.  The grand total of adding both options is US$1754.06 (including tax).  Please note that all prices are subject to change.

The Disney Incredi-Pass has no block-out dates, but you are required to make park reservations, and with this annual pass you are permitted to make up to 5 at a time.  A park reservation guarantees you entry to the park, and without such reservation you may not be admitted if there are no more available when you arrive at the park.  (Our UK Magic Tickets do not require any park reservations.)

Park reservations require some amount of forward-planning, but you can change your plans if there is availability at another park at the time of making your new reservation.  I would add that Christmas is a very popular time to visit Walt Disney World, and I would strongly recommend that you make your park reservations as early as you can.  At the time of writing, Disney water parks do not require park reservations.

Lightning Lane selections can be made up to 7 days in advance for Disney Resort hotel guests - with valid park admission - but can only be made once you arrive in the United States.  Guests staying elsewhere can make Lightning Lane selections up to 3 days in advance.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you wish.  We are always happy to help you plan your magical holidays to Walt Disney World!

    Sue
