Hi :) Help, Trying to decide between A of A & Wil Lodge, will be there wk b4 Christmas, Like AofA for space etc, concerned how busy the resort & park buses will be close to Xmas, we have 2 girls age 5 &11. WL easy for MK but smaller, 1bathroom

    Hello Andrea!

Your choice is a tough, but fun one. If it was any other time than the Christmas season, then I might be inclined to lean towards Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The suites do have extra space, 2 bathrooms, excellent bus service, and the largest pool on Walt Disney World Resort property. They also have an excellent food court, Landscape of Flavors, that offers non-traditional food court offerings like create-your-own-salad and whole wheat pasta.

I just stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge for the first time and that lobby took my breath away. I hear it is even more beautiful during the holidays. For that reason alone, I would choose the Wilderness Lodge. Now add in the boat ride to Magic Kingdom Park, the beautiful views, the holiday decorations (again), the excellent restaurants, and a little nook with a fireplace to relax and enjoy a beverage, and I have myself wanting to book a Christmas vacation there.

You'll have a magical time at either resort, but if it were me, I'd choose Disney's Wilderness Lodge. If you have any other questions, please visit us again.  Have a very merry vacation!
