HELP! Trying to decide if our family should take adv. of buy 4 get 3 deal. We have been bringing our 2D's (6,4) for the last 3 years to disney in the fall. How r crowds 8/9 to 8/16? Always come in sept, grandparents r coming & don't want kids miss scho

Hi Chasidy!  Determining the best time for a Disney vacation is not always easy.  To find the smallest crowds in the parks means you will need to come when children are in school through-out the US.  Now that you have a child in school makes that decision more difficult!

The August dates you have listed are still considered to be within the heavy summer vacation crowd weeks.  Families are winding down their vacations before school begins.  The wonderful Disney offer of Buy 4 Get 3 Free is something that has to be considered  as it allows families to almost double their vacation time for the same price. Being veteran Disney park "pros" you might be able to navigate the crowds and lines and enjoy an August vacation as you would a September one.  Hitting the theme parks early and late in the day and taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours will help tremendously.  The average weather is almost identical for August and September so that is not a factor to consider.
