Help! We're traveling to WDW for the first time with our 4 yr-old and 2 yr-old. As far as visiting the park I'm not sure where to begin and am feeling completely overwhelmed when I look online at things to do.

Johanna! Fear no more! I'm throwing my Mr. Incredible cape on and tucking in my tummy just for you! My wife and I have done the Disney dance with our two boys at very small ages.

So let's make this as easy as pie. I'll throw out a couple questions and considerations. Then you come back with follow up questions so we can help you plan your first visit!

    1. When do you want to go? The crowds and prices are lower when you're looking to visit at a time that's not during a holiday or the summer. Since your little biscuits are 2 and 4, you might have more travel flexibility with school being less of a consideration.

    2. What do you want in a hotel? Staying at a Disney hotel offers many benefits. Two of my favorites are with airport services - for starters, Disney will send you tags to put on your bags. Once you check them at your airport, you don't have to worry about them again. Disney will deliver them to your room free of charge. You'll also get a free shuttle from the Orlando airport to your hotel. This service is called Disney's Magical Express. Each Disney resort also gives you transportation to and from all of the Disney parks as well as early and/or late admission to a park before and/or after it closes. This is called Extra Magic Hours.

Also think about how much you are looking to spend. The Value Resorts are really good hotels and are exactly what you need if all you need is a nice hotel and a nice bed. Moderate resorts are a step up and Deluxe resorts are the creme de la creme.

    3. Food. The Disney Dining Plan lets you enjoy many dining experiences for a set price. If you don't like the thought of many sit down meals, you can pay out of pocket. We can help you here!

    4. Strategies at the parks. Tells us what you're looking for and ask us for help - that's why we're here!
