HELP! Traveling with my husband and 1 year old. Would like to stay in the animal kingdom, but I am clueless where to stay? And also, what parks should we go to and how many days of "park passes" should I get? What do we do about dining?

Hey Julia, I am happy to assist you in making this trip the best ever. The best place to begin to plan your vacation is to order the free Disney Vacation Planner. This helpful tool can aid you in answering all your vacation questions. The closet place to staying in Disney's Animal Kingdom, is a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  This resort is themed like an Africa lodge, complete with thatched ceiling, hand carved lobby furniture and art made in Africa. While all of this is really neat, the really cool stuff is just outside the lobby. Here on Arusha Rock your family will be taken directly into the savannahs of Africa, complete with all the animals and plants that you would expect to find on the continent. My kids love the zebras and watching the antelope just roam this vast panorama. You will just love it here. As for where to go, I always start with a trip to the Magic Kingdom. This is where the magic begins. Your child will love a trip aboard the classic Jungle Cruise, or a journey with the children of the world on "it's a small world." You and your family will be creating once in lifetime memories on this trip.
