Help, moms!! Thinking of upgrading to deluxe resort but can't decide between Boardwalk, Yacht Club or Beach Club. Staying 9/16-9/25 3 year old, husband and myself. Using military discount. Any advice or suggestions please!! Thanks!

Hi Kendra! I have stayed at all three of these beautiful resorts and love them all. If I had to choose for myself it would be the Yacht Club as I love its location and the resort feels a bit more quiet and relaxed. The store is easy to shop in and never wall to wall people like the other two resorts shop can be. The one draw back for some is that it can tend to be a convention crowd with far more adults then children. Almost every room will have a balcony and if you are lucky to get one that faces the water just sitting outside in the evening is a huge treat with the lights of Boardwalk across the way.

The Beach Club is the partner resort and they both share the pool area, Stormalong Bay.  This resort is definitely busier with Cape May restaurant just off the lobby and the Beach Club Villas attached. The store is equipped with more food and drink then the Yacht but it is always crowded. You definitely get the feel of more children in this resort. It is the closest to the International Gateway of Epcot so walking there takes a mere five minutes.

The Boardwalk has a smaller feel and has a large part of the resort being for the DVC villas. Your pool is adequate but nothing like the Yacht and Beach. It is located right on the Boardwalk so it feels busy outside but the decor and upkeep of the resort is beautiful.

If it was my choice considering you have a three year old I would pick the Beach or the Yacht Club.....just depends on the feel you wish to have while at Disney. A more relaxed atmosphere-the Yacht Club. A more active atmosphere-the Beach Club! Whatever you choose will be a wonderful spot!
