Help! Taking first family vacation to WDW 5/21-26, w/5 day passes;traveling with girls (7, 9) and my folks(in their 80s),what parks should we hit when to get most of out of our trip? Hv. dining plan w/dinner reserv. ea.nite. at MK, MK, Epcot, AK, & HS.

    Hi Cherie,

Thanks for writing!  How wonderful that you can share your Disney vacation with several generations of your family.  When I've travelled with grandparents and grandkids in tow, I generally set up an itinerary that includes some "group" time, such a group character meals, evening fireworks shows and time on less-intense attractions (such as It's a Small World, Peter Pan, Journey into Imagination, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, etc.)  I also plan time when we split up into smaller groups, so that kids and/or more adventurous adults have an opportunity to ride the more thrilling attractions such as Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, etc.  If you agree to meet for your meals, some performances/shows and attractions that are suitable for everyone, I'm guessing you'll have a wonderful trip, where each member of your party can see and do those things that most interest them!

    Happy planning!
