    Help! I got surprise Cirque tickets for my sisters birthday (9:00 show). We are spending the day in AK and I would love Rainforest Cafe for dinner. Which location and at what time do you think would be best? I heard DD doesnt take reservations? Thanks!

    What a wonderful and unforgettable surprise for your sister's birthday!  You will love the Cirque du Soleil show!

    The Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney would be my first choice over the two locations.  You can have a nice dinner and then leisurely walk through the many shops and exhibits as you wend your way  towards the Cirque theater.  This location is now taking reservations starting January 26, 2009 for dining Monday through Friday.  You did not mention what day of the week you were thinking and they do not take reservations for Saturday and Sunday. 

    Plan an early dinner so you are not rushed for the show. You will need to be at the Cirque du Soleil theater by 8:30 p.m. so I would make reservations for around 6:00/6:30 p.m.  Check out the many other wonderful restaurants in Downtown Disney. If you are unable to secure a reservation at the Rainforest Cafe you might consider something else.
