I want to help send my friends family on a trip to Disneyworld. I want to purchase a voucher which they can use against the cost of hotel, food, park passes etc. I am thinking $3 - 5000. How can I do this?

Hello, Man, and welcome to planDisney

Giving the gift of a Walt Disney World vacation sure is magical. I think that is such a sweet pixie-dusted surprise! I am certain it will bring a joyous smile to your face hearing all of the wonderful memories that your friend's family made at the Most Magical Place on Earth

I have the perfect solution for you, Man - Disney Gift Cards! You can purchase Disney Gift Cards at most major retail locations or on the Disney Gift Card website. Disney Gift Cards can be used to purchase Walt Disney World vacation packages, Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, hotel room stays at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, dining at Walt Disney World, merchandise and so much more! Disney Gift Cards can be purchased in different increments and can hold up to $1000 each. If you collect several cards of various amounts, you can combine them at DisneyGiftCard.com so it is easier for your friends to keep up with once you've given them your gift. Disney Gift Cards do not expire, so you don't have to worry about the timeframe on which to purchase and use them. The money will always be there, whenever they are ready to enjoy a Walt Disney World vacation.

When your friends are ready to plan their Walt Disney World vacation, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, they'll need theme park tickets. Once those are purchased, they can be linked to their MyDisneyExperience account. This is an online system that will keep track of all of the reservations, tickets, PhotoPass pictures and lots of other fun things. After their tickets are added to their account, they'll also need to make park pass reservations. Park pass reservations are like a virtual placeholder in line each day at the Walt Disney World Theme Park they'd like to visit. The parks are still operating at a limited capacity and this will guarantee them a spot each day. Another planning must-do is to make advanced dining reservations. If they are interested in sit-down meals or character dining this is a really important step. Dining reservations can be made 60 days prior to their check-in date for the length of their stay up to 10 days if they are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. They can make dining reservations online starting at 6:00 a.m. or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 p.m.

I think we've covered some of the most important planning things to get you and them started. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Have a great week!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
