Can you help me schedule what parks to go to from Dec. 28 through Jan 2nd We arrive noon on Dec.28th and leave early on the 2nd! My little ones are 5 & 6 and it will be the first trip they remember. Where should we spend New Years?? Dinning? Thanks

Hi there Evelina. It sounds like you're planning a magical holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Get ready for some delightful Florida winter weather too!

One of the best resources I've discovered over the years for predicting crowd patterns during busier times of the year is the unofficial website www.touringplans.com. Not only will you find recommendations for which theme park to visit on each date of your visit, there are also itinerary plans for how to maximize your time once you are actually in the park including the order of attractions to experience to help you avoid extra walking. If you're staying onsite at a Disney resort hotel, you'll definitely want to consider utilizing the Extra Magic Hours benefit to lessen the queue line waits at the most popular attractions too.

My recommendation for dining with little ones your children's ages on December 31st would be either Ohana at the Polynesian Resort or Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. Try to time your meal around the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular so that you can go outside and snuggle with the kids while viewing the fireworks from across Seven Seas Lagoon. Just breathtaking, especially during the special New Year's Eve show!

Wishing you a pixie-dusted Disney vacation!
