    Help me research Disney hotels

Thanks for checking in to planDisney, Gaynelle! I always stay at a Disney Resort hotel when I visit Walt Disney World because I love the theming, amenities, dining, and vibes that they offer, plus it puts me right in the middle of all the action and excitement. Each hotel is unique and special in its own way, and I've stayed at almost every hotel on property, from Value to Moderate to Deluxe, and even Deluxe Villa resorts! There truly is something for every size travel party, every budget, and every taste and style, so I'd be delighted to assist you with your Disney Resort hotel research.

Let me start by saying that planDisney has assembled a ton of amazing resources about Disney Resort hotels. You can check out our super helpful Pocket Guides which will give you a general overview of each resort, or allow us to take you on a video tour of the grounds, the rooms, the pools, and all the awesome features of many of the hotels on property.

You can also find lots of valuable information about each hotel by visiting its page on the Walt Disney World website. You can see pictures of the rooms, check out dining options, learn about resort and theme park transportation, and even see the activities schedule online!

I'm also happy to provide some recommendations based on popular categories that guests often ask about, so here are my top recommendations:
    • Best Resort for Dining: For me, it's got to be Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This resort offers amazing Quick Service options at Gasparilla Island Grill, a fabulous Character Dining experience at 1900 Park Fare, and and out-of-this world Signature Dining restaurant in Narcoossee's. There's something for everyone at this resort, from grab & go to fine dining, so definitely consider it if food is a priority. Honorable Mention: Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • Best Resort for a Large Group: If you're traveling with a large family or a group of them, Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a solid choice. There are Family Suites offered here that can accommodate up to 6 adults, and they are whimsically themed after fan-favorite films like Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and Cars. Honorable Mention: Disney's All-Star Music Resort
    • Best Resort Transportation: You can walk to EPCOT, catch a boat or fly in style on the Disney Skyliner to Hollywood Studios, and take a short trip on a bus to Animal Kingdom from Disney's Beach Club Resort. Honorable Mention: Any resort on the Monorail loop
My favorite resort is Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I love the vintage tiki vibes, the dining at 'Ohana and Wailulu Bar & Grill, the monorail access, and the pools! I can see fireworks from my room and enjoy Dole Whip to my heart's content from one of Disney World's iconic original hotels. It's a place that can't be beat in my book, and I highly recommend checking it out!

Ok, Gaynelle, I know this is a lot of information to process. If you have specific questions about your quest to find the perfect Disney hotel, please stop by again and ask. We love to assist our fellow guests!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
