HELP?!?!?!?! I am really freaking out, I just booked our FIRST Disney Vacation for my family for end of September and there are no character reservations available anywhere? Is it possible to move my vacation to another date or cancel it for another time?

    Hi Nicole!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

Being this early, you should have no problems canceling your reservation or changing the dates!  Of course, your cost might go up when you change the dates depending on when you change them to.  I suggest just calling Disney directly and working out the change.  Be sure to have your reservation number available when you call and good luck!

By the way, September is infamous for being a month when it is hard to get Disney dining reservations.  The parks aren't that crowded, but because Disney historically offers Free Dining then, it is hard to get dining reservations.  If you want to have no problems getting reservations, I suggest making a hotel reservation at least 6 months in advance.  That is because dining reservations can be made 6 months in advance!

I hope this helps!  Good luck and please write back if you have any more questions!
