Help please!! We are going to for Xmas week (23rd - 27th) with the standard half board package. I assumed that Xmas dinner was provided with this but I keep seeing about booking? Does anyone know if we need to book something? Also, do the have travel cots?

    Hi Emma!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am very excited to see that you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort at Christmas time!  In my opinion there is nowhere more magical to spend the holidays.  I was visiting there last month, and the decorations were already starting to go up - they are so beautiful!  I am assuming you have taken advantage of the free dining offer for Guests from the UK?  Or maybe you have purchased a Disney Dining Plan package with your hotel reservation. I don't know where you are staying, or which dining plan you have so I will try and cover every option.  If you have the free dining offer, for Guests at a Disney Value Resort hotel you will receive a free breakfast for each night of stay.  For Guests staying at a Disney Moderate Resort hotel you will receive a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, and for Guests at a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, you will have a Disney Dining Plan.  You can read full details here, but briefly, the Disney Quick-Service Dining plan provides, per person, per night of stay, 2 Quick-Service Meals, 2 Snacks and a refillable mug for unlimited refills of select fountain drinks, and hot drinks such as coffee, tea and hot chocolate at the Beverage Stations at any of the Disney Resort hotels.  The Disney Dining Plan provides 1 Quick-Service Meal, 1 Table-Service Meal, 2 Snacks and a refillable mug.  The free breakfast offer is actually 1 Quick-Service credit which can be used for any Quick-Service Meal, at any time of day.  Reservations can rarely be made at any Quick-Service restaurants, but are always recommended for a Table-Service Meal, especially at such a busy time of year.  Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using your My Disney Experience account, at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and select restaurants at Disney Springs.

I would love to be more specific, and give you as much help as you need with this - please come back with a few more details and we can provide more information about recommended restaurants etc.  You are also very welcome to send me a direct question so I can continue to answer you personally.

For the last part of your question, cribs and playpens can be ordered at every Disney Resort hotel, and I would recommend you put in a request as soon as possible with whichever UK Tour Operator you made your holiday reservation.  If this was the Walt Disney Travel Company International, please call freephone UK number: 0800 028 0778.

We look forward to hearing from you again if you have any further questions as we will be very happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World Resort.
