    Help Please! Starting to have "buyer's remorse". Booked at POR week of 12-19, now thinking should be at a monorail resort, or rent a car. Scared of wait & ride times of buses to & from resort. DH is recoverying from a kidney transplant

    Hmmm...well we were just in Walt Disney World for ten days.  Even if you rent a car, you will still need to park it, and walk or ride a tram to the gates.  If you stay at a Monorail resort you will still need to use buses to Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney.  There are ways to get around via boat as well.  I would recommend renting a scooter.  I would call 407-w-disney and speak to a cast member to see if there are any rooms available.  No worries about remorse..sometimes we think of things after the fact.  I hope you have a fabulous trip!!!
