HELP PLEASE! What happens if it rains during parade and firework times? Do they still go on? We are really looking forward to SpectroMagic and the fireworks that follow, and are hoping the 30% chance of rain won't cancel them! Thanks! Leaving in one week!

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!  I can understand your worry about the parades being canceled, unfortunately I don't have definitive answer for you.  In the event of downpours, yes the parade will be canceled as the safety of the performers and guests is Disney's number one priority.

Unfortunately, in my experience this has not been a decision made well in advance because storms can be infrequent.

Personally, I think you stand a pretty good chance of getting to view the parades assuming that the rain potential stays around 30 percent.  Good luck!
