Help please! Have 2 girls that will be 17/15 next year. Want to stay 10 nights on property and for the sanity of my poor husband (3 women!!) would like to know which hotel offers the more spacious bedroom? Was upgraded at Saratoga last yr and truly spoilt!

Hi there, Sarah, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Goodness, you have quite an adventure planned for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation next year, don't you? Let's help you find just the right Resort hotel for your family, for your husband's sake!

I'm so glad you loved your stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. It sounds like you stayed in a Deluxe Villa. I can imagine why you felt spoiled by all the space and incredible amenities there. I stayed with friends in a villa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge a couple of years ago, and boy howdy, it was really like a home away from home!

Sarah, you can always opt for another stay in a Villa available at many Disney Resort hotels. You already know how amazing they are! If you're looking for rooms that are still spacious but not quite a Villa, you can try something like The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground or the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Both have their strong suits - the cabins feature a full kitchen, for example, while the family suites sport a small kitchenette. Both also have a separate bedroom with a door for privacy. However, there's one thing that makes a family suite my recommendation for your family: Two - yes, two - full bathrooms! With two teenage girls plus your husband and yourself, I really think you'll most appreciate the extra bathroom.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is also just a ton of fun! I'm a big fan of the Landscape of Flavors food court, and you can hop across the bridge to check out Disney's Pop Century Resort. Plus, this Resort hotel will be a stop on the Disney Skyliner route once it takes to the skies later this year, making it a breeze to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

Also, be sure to take a look at the video I'm linking here featuring my fellow panelist Wes, with info about accommodations for larger families that I think will give you some great ideas.

I hope this helps you find the perfect "home" for your family during your Walt Disney World vacation, Sarah. Please come by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
