HELP PLEASE !!! I just booked my first family disney world vacation for 6 nights at pop century resort wth the free dining plan promotion including the parks ticket and water park. Would you recommend the park hopper ? 2 adults,2 childs, 8 & 7,

The way I look at the park hopper, Kham, is that it's a convenient perk when it fits the budget, but an unnecessary expense when money is tight.  My family rarely uses the park hopper option.  The only time we've really found it to be useful is when we stay at an Epcot area resort and we "hop" to the World Showcase for dinner in one of the restaurants.  Other than that, I, personally, think that too much time is spent going from one place to another with the park hopper.  I'd much rather spend that time lounging by the pool or shopping at Downtown Disney.  That's not to say that I don't value my theme park time; I just don't value the process of traveling to a second park, and then making my way through security and the turnstiles.  It can be a lengthy process!

If your itinerary would benefit greatly from the use of the hopper--and you can afford it--it's a nice perk.  But if not, I say go without it.  You'll have every bit as much fun!  Enjoy your trip.

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
