Help! We are planning a week long trip beginning 10/31/13. We have three daughters, 2,4 & 6. They are not huge Princess girls, but do love MK. Hoping for age appropriate pools, fun,and quick access to MK. $ not a huge issue (though of course a factor).

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I assume you are asking about a hotel.  If money is not an issue, I would recommend staying in a Magic Kingdom Monorail Resort.  That would give you easy access to the Magic Kingdom and, via a monorail transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center, to Epcot as well.  In fact if you stay at the Polynesian Resort, you can walk to the monorail station at the Polynesian or walk to the monorail station at the Transportation and Ticket Center to directly get on a monorail for Epcot.

My favorite Magic Kingdom Monorail Resort is the Polynesian followed by the Contemporary Resort.  Another great Magic Kingdom resort is the Wilderness Lodge, but it is not on the monorail line; boat access is provided to and from the Magic Kingdom for guests staying at the lodge.

Another great resort for children is the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  It offers a lot of onsite activities including great pools.  Of course there is also the animals right outside the resort!

If money is an issue, I suggest considering staying at Port Orleans French Quarter, a Disney Moderate Resort, or Pop Century or the Art of Animation Resort.  Pop Century and the Art of Animation Resort are Disney Value Resorts.

I hope this helps!  Good luck with your decision and please write back with more questions!
