Hello, Tara and greetings from planDisney! It's my pleasure to welcome you hEAR and I'm happy to assist in your planning.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is my favorite destination during the holiday season. The vintage decor that you'll find around the park evokes that old Hollywood feel, complete with music from a bygone era. Now, Tara, my trips to the Most Magical Place on Earth always include a Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay, so let's start there.
You'll want to begin your trip planning on
THIS PAGE where you can input your dates to see what resorts are available. Tara, I did a quick search and found a wide variety of choices from more budget friendly options to luxurious splurges. Once you have selected a hotel, you'll continue through the prompts to select tickets. Based on the number of days you'll be visiting you'll need either one a 1-, 2-, or 3-day standard ticket. The standard ticket allows you entrance to one park per day (you may still leave and return to that one park as you please). Tara, you can book your vacation package right from this page and since you're hoping to travel by the end of the month, your package will need to be paid in full at booking.
Once you've secured your reservation (resort and tickets) you'll need to make sure that your reservation confirmation number is linked to your My Disney Experience account. If you were logged into your account when you booked, it should automatically update. If you booked as a "guest" you'll need to manually link your reservation. Take a look at
THIS question and answer about linking a reservation.
Now, Tara, you're half way done.
We've got ears, say chEARS! Next, you'll need to make a
Disney Park Pass reservation for
Disney's Hollywood Studios since that is the park you're planning to visit. Currently there is still availability for this park, but please check
THIS calendar immediately before purchasing and then make your complimentary theme park reservations immediately after linking your package.
Tara, all that's left is to make any advanced dining or experience reservations (pending availability). If you'd rather be a bit more "spur of the moment" and enjoy Quick-Service dining, I encourage you to read all about
Mobile Ordering through your My Disney Experience Mobile App. Because you'll be visiting at a popular time of year, I encourage you to place your Mobile Order 60-90 minutes before you'd like to eat.
Tara, I hope this helps as you're planning to enjoy all the excitement and Magic at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Before I wish you well, let me also direct you to learn about the newest offering:
Disney Genie. This is a complimentary service through the app that helps to streamline your day, but there are two paid upgrade options as well that allow you to skip the standby line at a variety of attractions.
Wishing you all the best this holiday season and hope that your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios is full of fantasy and delight. Please come on back with any additional questions.
Lauren
