Well hi there Mollie, and welcome to planDisney!
First of all, I want to say a huge congratulations to you and your True Love's Kiss - there's really nothing quite as special as celebrating your marriage at a place as magical as Walt Disney World Resort! As a recent
Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Groom, I can also say from personal experience that sticking to a budget can be tricky but not impossible - as long as you both lay out your expectations for what you want to
see and experience that would make it really feel like a Disney Honeymoon and also discuss what you're willing to be flexible with.
You may be happy to hear that I ran a bit of a test for the week of your honeymoon trip on the
Walt Disney World Resort website using the interactive calendars to find a simulated example of a vacation package that would fit right within your budget that includes:
At the current time this does not include any special
Offers or Promotions, which are subject to availability and may show up closer to your dates! While pricing is always subject to change without prior notice, this simulation gives you about a hundred dollars to spend on extra goodies and merchandise each day. Some good ways to economize might be to opt for a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or stick with date-based tickets without the Park Hopper option. Choosing other Value Resort Hotels or even
Neighboring Hotels can work out in your favor, but we've always loved using
Disney's complimentary Resort Transportation and planning our days around being able to hop around and make reservations at the diverse array of restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and
Disney Springs, where they always made us feel extra special whenever we mentioned that it was our honeymoon!
If you end up having a little wiggle room in your budget, I absolutely recommend having a look at booking an experience from the
Enchanting Extras Collection; my husband and I did a special
private Capture Your Moment session with Cinderella Castle in the background which I think was a fantastic value when we paired it with
purchasing Memory Maker so that we could already have those photos ready to share and download soon afterward. (I recommend dressing up a bit for this, even if you can't wear wedding attire but perhaps something bridal-inspired or wedding-adjacent!)
Come back to planDisney any time and
let me know if you ever want any more tips or tricks for making your honeymoon extra special, like why I think celebrating with a Fireworks Dessert Party is the absolute best way to cap off a honeymoon!
Wishing you all the best as you reach out and find your Happily Ever After!
