Can you help me plan a "free day" in Feb for 3 adults, 2 kids (5yo girl, 8 yo boy)? Thinking of either playing at the AK lodge and eating dinner at Jiko or Going to Disney Springs to visit the Legos store and eat lunch or dinner at T Rex.

    Hi Kristen!

There is so much to explore outside of the parks at Walt Disney World.  My favorite way to spend a free day is at Disney Springs.

Our favorite lunch spot is Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza.  My kids, also 5 and 8, can choose their own toppings and watch it being made.  Blaze also has the best root beer in town!  They can split a pizza, so it's also budget friendly.

We always stop in Uniqlo to see if there are any complimentary activities going on.  We have had our names painted in Japanese on keepsake paper and also had an origami lesson.

No trip is complete without stopping by the hands-on LEGO Store.  Your kids can build their own cars for a competitive race.  This is my son's favorite thing to do.

Pop in Amorette's Patisserie and watch as the pastry chefs make and decorate beautiful sweet treats.

If you find yourself with extra time, Splitsville Luxury Lanes is tons of fun for kids and parents.  You can even spot your favorite character on the bowling balls!

T-Rex is an excellent choice for dinner.  The kids will have a great time digging for bones in the Paleo Zone before your meal.

Looking for a sweet treat for after dinner?  There is no shortage of cupcakes and ice cream at several delicious pop-in shops.

    Have a magical day!
