Ahoy there, Deborah! Thank you for visiting planDisney to help plan a magical Disney Cruise Line vacation. There is something for Guests of all ages, but here are some questions to help narrow things down:
- When do you all want to cruise? I know that you have school schedules to consider, so maybe summer will be best. You may also be thinking of a school break. You will find itineraries of varying lengths. If you are considering a school break, you may want a shorter cruise, like a 3-Night or 4-Night cruise. If you have more time during the summer, a 7-Night cruise or more may be in your future.
- Where do you want to cruise? Different Disney Cruise Line ships travel to different destinations. If you want to visit Alaska, then you will sail on the Disney Wonder in 2025. If you are planning an Alaskan cruise for next summer, you can choose from the Wonder or the Magic. If you want to visit the Bahamas in the summer of 2026, you will have more ships to choose from, such as the Wish, Fantasy, or Destiny.
- Which ship is best for teens? All of them! They all have the teen club called Vibe for Guests ages 14 to 17. They will be able to meet other teens their age, play games, and just hang out. There are onboard activities that you can enjoy together, such as competing in trivia, watching a movie or a Broadway-style show, and lounging by the pool.
All of this can be found on the Disney Cruise Line
website, so I suggest you and your grandchildren take a look around the site and plan your itinerary together. Once you're ready to book, you can use the website or
call Disney Cruise Line directly. A reservation specialist can also answer any other questions you may have. There are also Authorized Disney Travel Agents who can book and help you plan your vacation.
Once you have selected and booked the itinerary that will work for you and your grandchildren, sail back to
planDisney with any other questions you may have. We are here to help you plan a great family vacation!
Adventure is out there!
