Help! We're a party of 5 staying at CB from May 12-18 and have no dining booked yet. Our challenge is 1A who loves to plan and 3A + 1C who just want things to be easy. Please help me make their trip amazing without cramping their style.

I completely understand your situation. I've traveled with extended family that didn't understand my compulsion to plan every detail of our WDW vacation. However, every one of them was thankful for my planning once we were at Walt Disney World, an area over 40 square miles.

Print out some menus for each park or nearby resorts. Allow everyone in the family to vote or choose one day to pick the restaurant.

Tell them that you are going to reserve a restaurant reservation so that you'll have a sit-down dining opportunity available. However, if meal time approaches and the group would rather eat pool-side, counter-service or can find another restaurant with availability then you can pop into Guest Services or call 407-WDW-DINE to cancel your reservation.

You and I both know that finding a table-service restaurant with availability at meal times is often difficult. I think the tired, hungry travelers in your party will be thankful for your planning. At least by the 3rd day!

Best wishes for an amazing trip that is well-planned but allows for spontaneous fun!
